Scott D Davis - Pianotarium : A Tribute to Metallica
Pianotarium is a piano tribute album to Metallica by Scott D. Davis. It contains eight piano covers of Metallica songs and three original compositions. Davis had been a Metallica fan since his teenage years; explaining the genesis of the album to the Sacramento News & Review, he said: "I’ve been a huge Metallica fan since I was 14, and have wanted to do this album for a long time. I had a hunch that their music could sound really amazing on the piano. There’s a great deal of beauty in Metallica’s music, and I wanted the piano arrangements to highlight that quality, to bring forth many of the harmonies and intricacies that have always set Metallica apart. I also tried to take advantage of the powerful, edgy resonance of the grand piano, so that it wouldn’t totally lose its 'metal' intensity."

Scott D Davis, pianis yang dikenal sebagai “the rocker of new age/contemporary classical music”. Mungkin banyak yang menganggap permainanya bagaikan suatu hal yang menyegarkan, asli dan dapat memotivasi
Tak cukup hanya itu, jika ada yang menanyakan tentang latar belakang musiknya pasti akan merasa heran:bingungs. Dia bukan berasal dari latar belakang pianis(mungkin keluarganya kagak ada yg pianis ya gan). dia tumbuh dibawah pengaruh beberapa punggawa musik rock seperti Rush, Queensrÿche, dan Metallica. diapun memainkan musik rock pada masa itu, dan sebagai keybordis pada band-nya.
Sampai pada ketika pemain gitar pada band nya itu memberitahukan tentang David Lanz, seorang pianis, dia mulai mempertimbangkan karir sebagai pianis. Sebelum mendengarkan David Lanz, pemikiranua tentang pianis solo itu tak lebih dari memainkan musik klasik, musik yg selalu dihargainya tetapi tak bisa nyambung dengan dia. Gaya David Lanz tersebut tak seperti kebanyakan musik yang ia dengar. Gitaris band nya itu memberikan copy-an lagu "Skyline Firedance", dan dia sangat menikmati dan menggodanya untuk memainkan lagu tersebut, bahkan sulit untuk tidak memainkan lagu tersebut kembali.
Mungkin karena memang dasarnya clasic, stylenya menurut ane sih clasic juga:oghoho:, tenang harmonis, penuh penghayatan

namanya vika yermolyeva aka vika goes wild
lahir tahun 1978 di kiev, Ukraina. Dia memulai sebagai pianis klasik dan memenangkan beberapa kompetisi piano internasional dan sekarang dia semakin banyak yang tahu portal youtube-nya dengan nick "vkgoeswild" yang isinya cover dari lagu metal dan rock. dengan kesuksesan tersebut dia berubah haluan dari musik klasik ke musik rock
dia ini banyak sekali memainkan lagu2 dari band metal aka meng cover
banyak sekali lagu dari metallica yang dimainkan lagi ama dia
ini salah satunya
ada lagunya SOAD juga nih gan
mencover lagunya led zeppelin yang memang enak buat dicover pake piano(enak disini enak didengerin lho ya bukan enak dimainin:o)
